DOUBLE-PAGE SPREAD ARTICLE

Double page spread article for my music magazine:
Will Haddock, ex lead singer of the band “The Mockisons” has revealed to us his life after going solo and how he is dealing with be self-sufficient and not having his band mates to rely on. He will tell his departure from his ex-genre, towards a his new style, also he has told the details to us the apparent, drastic differences between his new, as-yet-untitled, album and his ex-bands top selling, number one first album “The end of yesterday”.
The inner city singer, who has been singing from he’s pre-teens, left his world renowned band back in early April and since then has been searching for his purpose in hidden within his music along with his producer, Mike “The number one maker”  Faulkner.
“My plan originally plan was to leave the band, let the heat die down from the press and start work on my new album with Mike”, said Will in our studio this week. “But that wasn’t happening since I’m still coming up with songs for it and I only have about half the amount I need”. “It would be easier with others”, he admitted, “but this way I have majority of the import since I am doing a majority of the work and Mike is there for mostly to put his input and opinion in”. “Also instead of just spurting out music for the money like I used to, I am doing themes for my new sound like love and self-respect”.
"To leave behind everything you have known for several years is difficult", he explains. "There were times when I found myself trying to except the fact that I had no one to support me inside the music industry since I cut ties to the others". "A few times I had to change my attitude when making my music and creating songs for the album but I knew I had to accept that if I wanted to remain in music". "But I still firmly believe that a solo career was a good choice, the others were becoming too greedy. Advert after advert, it wasn't about the music anymore for them, but I won't go down that road. Also going solo allows me explore each song with a fine comb to make sure the lyrics, rhythms and overall songs are the best I can make them".
"I am really glad I left when I did", Will admit as he chuckles. "It took me too long to realise what my purpose was and what in the hell was going to make my music stand out for the people and fans".
Replay had an all exclusive first listen of the songs already produced by Will. The songs he created are nothing new to the genre but are something special that are sure to satisfy the fans, lure new music lovers into the genre and, if Will were to go on tour, are sure to sell tickets to those that want to have a good time. The songs, whose names we can’t reveal as of yet, are said to be above expectations of the solo singer and we are sure his future ones are to be either as good as or better than these.
Back earlier in the year, are reporter managed to dodge the paparazzi and have a quick word with Will at the pinnacle moment of his career and his future in music. To this day he remains positive that his decision to leave his band, friends and lifestyle to peruse a career that hi put him back into the minds of the fans and what they want from him, not vice-versa.
However time is still tight for the current members of The Mockisons, so we were able to get a quick word with his friend and drummer of the group, Kim Walsh. “Will decision to leave the group came as no surprise to us”, she explained, “As he had been trying to persuade us to change our attitude for months”. “At first we thought he was just blowing off steam at us about the decisions to cancel our next tour for to pursue other solo projects like, Mike wanted to do a few celebrity based panel shows, but this upset him since he thought we aren’t about the music anymore”. The interview ended abruptly as Kim had to leave to host a show on channel 5.
Will’s desicion to leave may of come as a shock to the nation but we know that this decision will leave a positive mark on the music industry as he climbs the charts with his, soon to be released, chart toping album.
