There are many types of music magazine
I could choose to base my magazine off like:

-Punk
-Indie
-R&B
-Alternative
and other mainstream genres
There are also a few ranges of age, gender and intrests
to choose from that would affect my target audience. However
I think I will choose a fairly young audience, about teenagers to
young adult (15-25) and I will mainly focus on a mixed gender
audience.
